Cape Town – Hermanus – Livingstone - Chobe – South Luangwa  

 

 Prices range from $3360 - $16,800 per person depending on chosen

accommodation and season (excludes international flights, visas, gratuities, food and drink

and activities other than those specified by the accommodation) 

Day 1-2 Arrive Cape Town, transfer from airport by African Safari Experience staff who will take you through the arrival process and then onwards to your accommodation. Cape Town is a multicultural, metropolitan city, with beautiful architecture, urban entertainment, historical interest and natural beauty. Explore the city waterfront, sample the incredible cuisines and enjoy the fashion and explore the rugged beauty of Table Mountain National Park and its iconic cable car ride. 

 

Day 3-5 A short transfer to Hermanus finds you in this ocean side delight where whales visit. Beach life here is important so away from the whales try your hand at kite-Surfing or horse back gallops on the sands. Hermanus has plenty for foodies to enjoy and the fashion and jewellery establishments are up to the minute chic. 

 

Day 6-8 Next you travel to Chobe in Botswana, here the wild life takes centre stage. Make the most of game drives where the diversity of wildlife will astound you. With sights of the Big 5 possible, the walking safari is also a firm favourite. Try the bird watching, with over 460 species of birds recorded visiting grounds here. For a unique view try the artistic or photography safaris. River cruises offer unparalled sights in this National Park. 

 

Day 9-11 A transfer from Chobe to South Luangwa - the most authentic safari you can experience and the birth place of the walking safari. Incredible wildlife and sightings abound here. Make the most of the 4x4 game drives or venture on foot with your guide. This is getting back to exploration and a true appreciation for the African wilderness. 

 

Day 12-13 From South Luangwa you move to Livingstone, Zambia, where the might Victoria Falls await you. Livingstone has a wealth of activities available, none more spectacular than the sights and experiences of Victoria Falls. Take time to enjoy the river cruises and adrenaline sports. Make the most of the chance to complete those wish list experiences such as the helicopter ride over Victoria Falls or swimming in Devil’s Pool. Venture into Zimbabwe for a day trip to Hwange National Park. Visit the cultural museums and markets. 

 

Day 14 Following morning activity and breakfast African Safari Experience will transfer you to Livingstone/Lusaka airport.
