Arriving in Cape Town for the start of your journey, you will not be disappointed. Marvel at the sensational Table Mountain with or without a cable car ride.  This is the ultimate African safari holiday.  Sample the culture and diversity of the people, its renaissance buildings, modern waterfront and vibrant nightlife. With many activities to suit all adventure levels, and culinary choices galore, Cape Town is not to be missed.

From here take in the amazing Sea Safari at Hermanus, an opportunity to witness breaching Whales, Dolphins and even the odd Great White Shark. With marine life in abundance, it brings a new dimension to the traditional Safari. .

A connection to Livingstone, transports you to Victoria Falls, Zambia. At approximately 1500 metres wide and 100 metres high, the Falls is the largest falling curtain of water in the world, rightly taking its place as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Not only does it proclaim the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, but Livingstone offers travellers a wide diversification of options. Apart from the must see walking visit to “The Falls” we highly recommend the helicopter ride over the Falls for a true perspective and stunning photo opportunities. The Wildlife viewing is spectacular. Walking tours, horseback and game drives are all possible from Victoria Falls, each with opportunities to see some of the most popular game including the rare White Rhino. Why not venture further afield to Hwange National Park or take a day trip across to Zimbabwe to see the Falls from the other side.

There is an opportunity to visit a Crocodile Farm, an African Elephant ride or walking with Lions. Then relax in the evening with a boat cruise on the Zambezi river and watch the sunset as you sip a complimentary drink. Adrenaline thrill seekers will love the white water rafting, bungee jumping and gorge swings.

Escaping the higher tourism at Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park in Botswana is a short hop away. The Park offers multiple habitats and boasts an Elephant population of around 80,000 as well as unusually large Lion Prides. With magnificent groups of Buffalo, changing landscape and vast size, Chobe is very popular; particularly its River Safaris.

This is authentic African safari at its very best!

Next a journey via Lusaka, Zambia’s capital, puts you in the South Luangwa National Park, most renowned for the high quality of the guides and widely agreed as the best walking safari area in Africa. With high animal density, the chances to get up close to some of Africa’s incredible wildlife is never far away. Blessed by being less commercial than other resorts, South Luangwa National Park can seem quite remote and off the beaten track, whilst maintaining some of the best facilities. Day and Night Game drives are possible, and sightings of the Leopards are extremely likely here. There is also the unique opportunity to see Zambia’s very own subspecies of Giraffe, the Thornicroft Giraffe, and the endemic subspecies of the light coloured Cookson’s Wildebeest.

Finally, should you wish, a return to Cape Town and a gentle wind down from your adventures; whether you choose to relax at your resort or fill your last moments with an excursion to Robben Island, notorious for being the location of Nelson Mandela’s incarceration, or visit one of the many vineyards famous in this region.
