African Safari Experience

From above Chobe Safari Lodge is a turquoise oasis next to the Chobe River. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms are based around the elegantly rustic communal are as. Superbly positioned for exploring Chobe National Park and within easy access of Livingstone, this Lodge has all the charm you require. The riverside pool and sundeck offer great space for relaxing whilst listening to the hippos. There really is something for everyone with excursions a plenty all handled by the on-site Activity Centre, a pampering from the Health & Beauty Salon and mementos from the Curio & Craft Shop.

 

Accommodation

Rooms are varied and well furnished. Opt for the Safari Rooms, the newest to the Lodge. Each is air-conditioned with ensuite facilities and satellite TV. These rooms hug the lawns and have individual patios for privacy and river views.

 

River rooms are twin double bed with air-conditioning, en-suite and TV. Attached to the main complex these rooms have private patios and its own riverside garden where the resident monkeys visit.

 

Rondavels are the original accommodation, individually positioned and traditionally thatched. A short walk from the main complex they are detached with air conditioning and en-suite facilities.

 

The lodge’s campsite offers individual pitches, each with its own power supply, near to the modern ablution facilities and scattered within the riverine forest close to the river.

 

Dining

English or Continental Breakfast is available in the concept restaurant, a spacious a richly African atmosphere awaits. Light lunch is served either A La Carte or buffet style. The evening meal is a sumptuous buffet featuring exotic game meats, Indian and African cuisine, BBQ and vegetarian dishes.  Two bars offer choices of cocktails and amazing sunsets. Experience the Dinner Cruise, a succulent buffet meal served aboard the Lodges boats.

Game Drives are available morning, afternoon, half day or full day (and even private on request - not included). The Lodge boats offer sunset cruises and dining. Make the most of the hotel swimming pool, refresh from the days adventures.

 

Extra Activities

 

Spruce up with a visit to the Health & Beauty Salon, after a day’s safari.  Fishing and scenic flights are available as well as visiting a Namibian Village to experience real life.
