Just 15 minutes from the city centre, it allows a number of activities for guests, from action-packed mountain activities to leisure walks connecting the local wine farms, to a full day’s activities in Cape Town itself.

Standard Double - The entry-level Double Rooms at The Cellars-Hohenort offer either a view over the garden or open onto a terrace overlooking the lawns. Amenities included are a welcome bottle of wine, slippers and bathroom amenities, romantic turndowns with sparkling wine for honeymooners, Tea and coffee making facilities, Complimentary Wi-Fi, a bottle of water at turndown, Hot water bottles placed in beds at turndown in winter and a complimentary newspaper

Luxury Double with Veranda - These luxurious rooms, located in the historic Hohenort building, open out onto a veranda area that overlooks not only the elegant gardens of The Cellars-Hohenort, but on clear days offers views all the way to False Bay. Individually decorated in a classic style each has a small lounge area for guests to relax and enjoy the views outside with doors leading out onto the private veranda space.

Suites - The Suites at The Cellars-Hohenort have each been individually decorated, creating their own signature look. Inspirations, drawn from the views of the surrounding gardens, are reflected throughout the Suites. All offer a spacious lounge area, walk-in closet and mini-bar, a welcome bottle of wine, a fruit platter, Slippers and bathroom amenities, Tea and coffee making facility, romantic turndowns with sparkling wine for honeymooners, Wi-Fi, a bottle of water at turndown and a complimentary newspaper.

Premier Suites - Individually-decorated, the eight Premier Suites at The Cellars-Hohenort range from classic to contemporary, each spacious with either a private garden space or views over the sprawling gardens of the property. Premier Suites are available in either a split-level suite or one-level suite, and each contains a separate lounge, basic kitchen area, satellite television, large bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The Premier suites all have the same amenities as the other rooms in addition to their own unique features.

The Madiba Villa - a private double-storey villa secreted away in the beautiful Cellars-Hohenort gardens. It is self-contained in that a private driveway leads up to its entrance. A large open-plan sitting room and dining room welcome its guests, while three double en-suite bedrooms lead off the central area. The Madiba Villa also offers a private courtyard and swimming pool for its guests’ use. A fireplace, air-conditioning and under-floor heating ensure maximum comfort for guests at all times, while conveniences include a bar area and service kitchen.

Just off the reception area within the Cellars building The Martini Bar is an elegant space suited for both high tea occasions and sophisticated evening drinks.

Situated in the Hohenort building of The Cellars-Hohenort, the Greenhouse Bar looks out over the property’s beautiful, lush gardens. The award-winning gardens are reflected in the bar’s contemporary décor.
