Victoria Falls Waterfront
safaris in Zambia and Victoria Falls
The Victoria Falls Waterfront (formerly known as Zambezi Waterfront). A lively and fun place to stay, The Victoria Falls Waterfront promises good quality, centrally located accommodation and value for money - only 4km from Victoria Falls. There is a restaurant and bar on site and their
very own party boat. With 2 swimming pools and a TV lounge, free shuttle buses to Victoria Falls and Livingstone town centre, everyone is catered for. Additionally, there is an onsite internet café and Wi-Fi for those wishing to keep in contact with the outside world.
Victoria Falls Waterfront consists of 23 chalets, 24 Pod Tents and camping.
The 3 x Executive Chalets are river facing and for two sharing a king size bed, the bathroom has a bath and shower. Mosquito netting and fans, tea & coffee facilities, a fridge with bottled water and a safe add to the comfort. The private balcony is perfect for relaxing.
6 x Riverside Chalets have two single beds or 1 double bed and en-suite facilities. Make the most of the river facing position on the private balcony. Each has mosquito netting and fans as well as a safe, fridge with bottled water and tea & coffee facilities included.
10 x Standard Chalets are equipped as the Riverside but are non-river facing.
4 x Family Chalets are situated as the Standard Chalet but come with 4 single beds.
The Adventure Village has 24 individual 3m x 3m lock up dome tents, all with twin beds, electric light, and fan. These are positioned on raised platforms with their own decks placed in shady aspects of the complex away from the chalets. The spotlessly clean shared ab
lutions have hot and cold showers, basins and toilets.
Campsite pitches are also available for those with their own equipment. Pitches can cater for up to 100 people and share the bathroom facilities of the Adventure Village. There are barbeque facilities in the campsite.
The Victoria Falls Waterfront restaurant menu consists of a la carte or buffet meals or the new Italian section which serves the best pizza. The riverboat serves drinks and light snacks.
Book a guided canoe tour of the Zambezi, take in lunch on a nearby beach or even sundowners at sunset, and perhaps try your hand at fishing. Explore the Zambezi during sunrise or sunset on a boat trip. From guided Bush Walks to open top vehicle Game Drives in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, Victoria Falls Waterfront is ideally situated for you to see the Real Africa. Why not include a visit to Tujatane Trust School, indulge in the bazaar at Mukuni Park or take in Livingstone Museum. And of course no stay is complete without a trip to the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls.
Time to spare? Take a visit to Livingstone Island at the edge of Victoria Fall, enjoy the view from a thrilling microlight or helicopter flight over the Falls. Be exhilarated on the white water rafting, jet boating the Batoka Gorge, or bungee jumping. Enjoy the elegance of dinner aboard the five star Royal Livingstone Express, or visit Chobe National Park in Botswana to see one of the largest concentrations of game animals in Africa.
